Why do I need to use video thumbnails

I came across this the other day but didn't realise the importance of using
thumbnails in my videos. Anyway I've been doing some research and thought
I'd try using a free version of a thumbnail creator first.

This is one I used and was pretty impressed but when I went to upgrade it was pretty expensive. A few others I looked at were the same, limited to how many thumbnails I
could make.

In the end I returned to buy this as long term it was going to save me some money.
